I hate to do this but...

...it looks like I have to.

Until further notice (figure about a month), I've gotta take a hiatus from the blog. I love the blog and the work I do on these songs, but between work and school I just don't have the time right now. I apologize for this but I hope that when I do start to post again you'll all be just as active as you are now!!

As always I appreciate your patience and look forward to a bigger and better blog when I get the chance!!

Thank you!!!

Introducing Knob...

Hey all!!

I don't want you to think that I don't see your requests, cause I do and I will get to them sometime...I'm actually nearing the end of the first part of my schooling and I have a big exam on Sat so it's been alot of studying for me these days!

I didn't forget tho!! Things should get better as soon as this weekend passes! Thanks for reading still!!

Till then, here's the promo CD for Israeli dance duo, Knob who had success last year with the song "I'm Lost" (which is included here).

Knob are Meital, the singer, lyric-writer and musical co-writer of the duo and Niv K., the music writer and producer. They started working together 3 years ago and formed the dance-pop duo Knob. Meital - age 24, a student of physical education, is a professional dancer influenced mainly from hip hop. Niv K. - age 28 studied music since he was 13 - Classic, Modern and Jazz. He plays keyboards and sax. He started working with computers, producing and programming electronic music over 8 years ago. Knob is currently working on their debut album, to be released later this year.

All four songs here are amazing!!! Meital has such a great voice!!! I threw in a bonus track which is the vocals from "On My Own" put over the beat of Timbaland and One Republic's "Apologize" which fits perfectly! I highly reccommend all of these tracks!! Enjoy!!

Knob - Promo CD

1) Knob - On My Own

2) Knob - Don't Tell Me

3) Knob - I'm Lost

4) Knob - Sad Song

Bonus Track:

Knob vs Timbaland & One Republic - Apologize On My Own

The Songs That Got Away: Part Four

Tima Reece - Crazy About You (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
**I always want to love Almighty mixes but sometimes, with all the dance covers they do, it can be reeeeeeeeeeeally cheesy, even for me! However, when they nail a song they really nail a song (like their mix of Anastacia's "One Day In Your Life"), well this is no exception. They lyrics are beautiful and the production is awesome!! Why do we not get music like this here in America!!??**

Mandy Moore - Walk Me Home (JM's Matt & Vito Radio Mix)
**I've always loved Mandy and I still do...and while she does get remixes, they never seem to go anywhere. Such is the case here...And whatever happened to Matt & Vito? They had an interesting sound...**

Hannah Jones - You Only Have To Say You Love Me (Eddie Baez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I LOVE this song!!! Hannah had some great songs and this was the first of hers I had discovered. Eddie's mix is good but I prefer the Almighty mix.**

Hannah Jones - You Only Have To Say You Love Me (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Another great Almighty track!**

Casey Stratton - House Of Jupiter (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I wish Junior would do more Casey mixes! While when I first heard this I thought it was a woman, it turned me onto a great artist such as Casey. Junior really worked magic on this one!**

Lulu - Hurt Me So Bad (JM's Club 69 Radio Mix)
**Does this one ever get old??? Never! Who would've thought that such a great underground track would come from Lulu?? Im just glad that it did!! Peter Rauhofer really turns this one out!**

Samantha Mumba - Always Come Back To Your Love (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
**Almighty did it again with this unknown track from Samantha's first CD. What was a mid-tempo pop song Almighty turned it into a great pop/trance anthem!**

The World's Best Selling Soprano Takes It To The Dancefloor!!!

While I love dance music the most there are other genres I favor as well with tons of different artists. One of my all time favorite artists is Sarah Brightman. I've been following her career for along time and when she started dabbling in dance music herself as well as being remixed I was completely overjoyed!

She just released her new CD "Symphony" and I had to do a featured post to celebrate her first new CD in 5 years!

Here are some remixes, edits and a few of her dance/pop songs. I hope you enjoy them!!

Sarah Brightman - Harem (Hex Hector Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I've always loved middle eastern influences. The percussion they have is a style all their own and it's dark and sexy. When Sarah did her Harem CD it was all based on these middle eastern influences. Hex Hector took it and with stunning orchestrations and percussion work he turned into a tribal anthem!**

Sarah Brightman - It's A Beautiful Day (Groove Brothers Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is a song that was originally taken from Madame Butterfly ('Un Bel Di') and reconstructed into both the operatic Italian and with select English lyrics for the Harem CD. The Groove Brothers made a great pop/trance mix from it.**

Sarah Brightman - Free (Nemo Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Also from the Harem CD this was a great ballad that was then mixed by the original producer into a dance mix under the guise of The Swiss Federation. That mix was great and this is their radio edited version**

Sarah Brightman - A Whiter Shade Of Pale (Paralyzer Remix) **Official Mix**
**Sarah takes on the classic Procol Harum song! I was going to edit this but clocking in at 6 minutes, this one just doesn't stop. The BPM's are in the high 140's and this is total hi-nrg trance!**

Sash! feat Sarah Brightman - The Secret (Original Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Trance team Sash had a major hit back in the day with the song "Encore Un Fois" and this time Sarah teamed up with them to make this original production.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?5mwinmegm2z

Sarah Brightman - My Imagination
**A very cute pop/dance track from the Harem Tour CD.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?9xvinimgia9

Sarah Brightman - Pay No Mind
**This one completely blew my mind the first time I heard it! Also from the Harem Tour CD, It starts off with a breakbeat and then goes into hi-nrg trance! Incredible vocals on this one!!**

There are plenty more mixes of Sarah but some mixes would have to be edited so of course I will be returning to this post and add more songs when time allows me to edit them.

The Songs That Got Away: Part Three

kd lang - Consequences Of Falling (JM's Peter Rauhofer Radio Mix)
**There was once a time when I was a huge Peter Rauhofer fan. If there's any mix that can explain why, it's this one. F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S!!!! I had to make this one a little over 5 minutes cause I love the ending.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?7xpxmtxnnjm

Suede - Everything Will Flow (JM's Rollo Radio Edit)
**This was a big underground hit in NYC for awhile and while it never really broke ground other places, Rollo's production was so great taking this British bands mellow pop/rock song and turning it into a dancefloor playground that I had to show it off!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?0de49i1j2pg

Prince - Thieves In The Temple (JM's Junior Vasquez Radio Edit)
**While this isn't a full vocal, Junior really made something special out of this one. It has alot of Junior drama with a darker feel to it and since the original mix is on the massive side, I tried to keep the best dramatic elements of this one.**

Richie - Magic (Hex Hector Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I realize that there's always an extreme to dance music that me and perhaps 5 other people in the world enjoy. I also realize that this lands at the top of that list lol!! This is infamous club kid Richie Rich making his singing debut...and it's AWFUL!! And yes, it is THAT 'Magic', an awful, nasally cover of Olivia Newton-John's 80's hit. It's so bad it's good and what I do enjoy about it is that you get to hear a very early, then unknown Hex Hector try to make SOMEthing out of this! For the time it was (1996 I believe), he was on his way to being who he is today!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?60zecpzpcxv

Sherrie Lea - Anyway (Hex Hector Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is SUCH a good song from Sherrie. Who is she? I have no idea, but she left a superb and overlooked song in her midst. When the bridge hits and she sings "When you're lost and you need someone but you can't see beyond your pride. Let the walls come down when you hit the ground. Open your eyes...", it's dance music heaven!**
