So I just let the speakers speak to me. Vibrations movin' on the floor all around ...

Basshunter - All I Ever Wanted (JM's Wideboys Radio Edit)
**I feel like Basshunter just popped up and is now all over the place. Up until very recently, I had never heard of him and now I see his music on blogs everywhere. I have to admit, I do have a love for the faster, harder trance type songs as well, but I have to be in the mood. His CD all in all is pretty fabulous tho! This is the second single from his "Now You're Gone" CD and the Wideboys made this song alot more accessible to the mainstream who's hearts cant handle beats over 145 lol. The Wideboys might be one of the best remixers of 2008. Brilliant and so much fun here!**

Carillo & Amador feat Ronnie Sumrall - Save Me (Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I found this song randomly on a blog and I'm guessing that the Amador in this team is Eddie Amador? Does anyone know for sure? Either way, this is a slick male vocal with a nice electro production by Carillo & Amador. Good for early evening music or early morning...depending on how you're looking at it lol...**

Erin Hamilton - Control Yourself (JM's Lenny B Radio Edit)
**Diva Erin Hamilton is BACK! After a hiatus, Solar City's golden girl who gave us the classics "The Flame" (which just saw 2008 mixes) and her cover of "Dreamweaver", returns with an awesome vocal anthem! There's been oodles of mixes of this but this is the one I've gravitated towards the most so far. Is it just be or does she sound...blacker...now? Like she picked up some serious soul in her voice. It was great before but she sounds amazing now!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?djwmrdmzmvj

Jim Verraros - You're Getting Crazy (L.E.X. Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I posted an edit I did for the Mike Cruz mix and then I stumbled across this official edit from LEX who's productions never dissappoint. Dark and progressive, they take this song on with awesome results!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?nbmxnmdhdcg

Jody Watley - I Want Your Love (JM's Wideboys Edit)
**Jody Watley??!! Yeah, I can't believe it either! I know she's been recording still but I haven't really gotten into some of her stuff (I didn't enjoy her Madonna "Borderline" cover that much) but NOW? Well clutch the pearls because Miss Jody is back with a stunning cover of this 70's classic, originally done by Chic! This is sure to not dissappoint! Incredible vocals from Jody and a really fun mix from The Wideboys once again!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?m4yp0tj2lle

Kurtis Mantronik feat Kelly Marie Smith - I Can't Wait (JM's Radio Mix)
**Speaking of covers, let me introduce you to my new favorite cover of 2008. This was one of my favorite 45's (I'm dating myself here! lol) growing up and I still have it! I looooooooooved this song when originally done by Nu Shooz in the 80's and now? Well, this one will speak for itself. The production is to die for!! We also have a great vocal here from Kelly Marie Smith (former vocalist with The Shapeshifters) who hits this remake dead on! MUST HAVE!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?lx2bziqmfmg

Maroon 5 & Rihanna - If I Never See Your Face Again (Expensive People Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Holy electro Batman!! Hah! I was only eh about the original song, even though I do enjoy both artists alot. Maroon 5 has alot of soul and great pop sensibilities which is why alot of their songs do well on the dancefloor and this one is no different. NOW I'm loving this song! I don't know who the Expensive People are but they did an excellent electro-rock mix here that just screams fun!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ljlyvorn9mb

Michelle Williams - We Break The Dawn (JM's Wideboys Radio Edit)
**Michelle always seemed like the forgotten one in Destiny's Child. She only sang the bridges of the songs mosts times and when she went solo and did the gospel thing, it was only so-so. Well, that's all changed!! I can't wait for her CD as every song I've heard that's leaked is fantastic including this sleeper hit. Currently, it's #1 on the dance charts but hasn't charted anywhere else. I expect very big things from her and The Wideboys, AGAIN, do magic to this track. They are HOT!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?kmcoxeetbtb

Rob Mirage - Forever (JM's Midnight Society Radio Edit)
**This song is EXPLOSIVE!! A very dark and progressive male vocal with BIG beats and almost ALL synths! This song is MADE of synths and it works SOOOO well! This song definitely grows on you, if for no other reason then for the production.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?t2zmwzoqvyl

Shannon - Something About You (JM's Eddie Baez Radio Edit)
**When 80's diva Shannon had her mini-resurgence back in 2000 with the Hex Hector remix of "Give Me Tonight", I figured we were welcoming back a dance diva to the floor. Where did we go wrong?? After the #1 success of "Give Me Tonight", she released 2008 mixes of "Let The Music Play" which only hit #32 which is interesting cause originally in the 80's "Let The Music Play was a #8 song for her whereas "Give Me Tonight" stalled at #46. At any rate, Shannon released her 4th studio CD "The Best Is Yet To Come" and her original producer, Chris Barbosa was asked to rejoin her as was Tony Moran. Aside from her two classics, two more songs from the CD were remixed, this one by Eddie Baez who did a fantastic job and "Intimate" which was taken on by Plasmic Honey. She sounds just as god as she did then and needs to come back...er...again!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?bf5ylj9g0oy

Supanova - No Secrets (JM's Escape & Dom Capello Radio Edit)
**This is another random song I found in my surfing and while it's different, I do like it. It's a little more minimal and darker than what you'd expect from Escape & Capello, but it works very well as an afterhours track. Another good male vocal here!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?flugm24m1mj

The Ting Tings - Great DJ (Soul Seekerz Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Wow, the Soul Seekerz finally produced a good mix?! Hard to believe huh! Ok, I'm obviously being sarcastic here lol...Can they do any wrong?? The Ting Ting's first single here gets a good working over by my other favorite remixing team of 2008 and it's fabu! Naturally!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?xynvwtemxmd

Whitney Houston - Fine (JM's Rob Girellini Radio Mix)
**This song, the fourth single from her "Whitney: The Greatest Hits" CD only found Whit at #51 on the charts, but there were two very good remixes that popped up along the way, one by Junior Vasquez and this one by Rob Girellini. I don't know much about Rob but that the few mixes of his I've heard I've liked. This one is a really high energy mix which results in Whitney losing it around 2:45 and throughout to the rest of the song. How many times do you think she says the word "Fine" in this song? lol**

Just a little bit more for now

So since I've been busting my ass in school (cause I'm such a good student! lol) I haven't gotten to post in awhile nor have I been able to get to requests, but they are all duly noted and will be done SOMEtime!!

For now, I offer these...

Debbie Holliday - Bring It On (JM's Joe Bermudez Radio Edit)
**ANTHEM!!! Gotta love Debbie, especially when she sings "Does anybody want it? Does anybody need it tonight? I do! I do! I do! I do!" and lemme tell ya--You will too!! Great thumper here from Joe Bermudez who I actually had the pleasure of opening for at Boulevard in NYC a few years back! A great remixer, cute and such a nice guy as well!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?mtjm434stng

Ivry Lider - Beautiful Eyes (JM's Offer Nissim Oriental Radio Reconstruction)
**DOES ANYONE HAVE THE FULL LENGTH OF THIS!!??? I heard this a number of years and became obsessed. Granted, it's not in English (it's in Hebrew) but the beats are HOT!! Unfortunately I only have this song that I ripped from a compilation released by Offer over in Israel. And Ivry's voice is hot as hell...It doesn't really matter what language it's in.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?mzlcfzejssm

Laszlo Panaflex - Dance To The Music (JM's Luis Erre Babylon Radio Edit)
**Can Luis Erre do any wrong? I've yet to find a mix of his I don't like. His sound is tough enough and rugged around the edges that it could easily be worked into any Saturday night in NYC. And I know that this was a Star 69 record originally, but sorry, this mix easily blows all the others away.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?i0nhyd2tndy

Offer Nissim feat Maya - Alone (JM's Roie-Asi Mixshow Edit)
**This is easily the best song these two have ever collaborated on. The vocals, the lyrics, Offer's production all add up to pure gold. Roie Yamin made a gorgeous intro for the mix and Asi Givati added some SICK electric guitar over Offer's original mix which takes it all to the next level. I can't listen to the original without the guitar. I combined Asi's mix with Roie's intro to make this. It's a hard song to edit, especially with the guitar in it so I left alot of it alone which is why I labeled this as a mixshow.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?2c2zx0j1bi0

Offer Nissim feat Maya - On My Own (JM's Tony Moran Radio Mix)
**Another stunner by Offer & Maya--And btw I urge you all to get your hands on the new Offer compilation "Happy People" if for no other reason than the Offer/Maya tracks as well as Offer's INCREDIBLE take on Shirley Bassey's "La Passione". However, this mix got a great treatment by Tony Moran and while it's not amazingly different than the original, Tony's beat does give it a little something special.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?zgeeg1g2jtc

Rich Luzzi - It's Over (JM's Eddie Baez Radio Edit)
**This is a GREAT song by Rich (who gave us the anthem "Without You") and this was intended for a full release which never saw the light of day. All I have is this so-so quality version. If anyone has a better copy, it would be greatly appreciated! But till then, enjoy this one. I gag when Rich (who's hot as hell!) says "You've run out of time/You're just fucking with my mind/Well just walk right out that door/Cause our love don't live here no more" ::drool::**

Welcome Back to...uh...ME!!!

So yes, the time has come and I had to come back! There's way too much music out there for me to not share!

As you may or may not have noticed, I have a new layout, but aside from that, there have been quite a few blogs that have been deleted lately and I really don't want to be one of them. The main cause of it seems to be the posting of either Mariah Carey or Madonna's music.

And even though I did a really cute edit of the Seamus Haiji mix of Mariah's "Touch My Body", I don't feel comfortable posting it for the time being. I'd like to keep this blog as under the radar as possible.

Having said that, here's some random stuff that's made it's way to MY radar lately!

Cher - Paradise Is Here (JM's Junior Vasquez Arena Radio Mix)
**I love Cher so much and if all goes well, I'll be going to see her in Vegas later this year with the hubby! But even though I love her and I love Junior, this is not one of my favorites but a special request. The original is a great song and I don't know that I think this one translated that well to the dancefloor. Ah well! You can be the judge!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?mc1tnxnby0n

Cynthia - I Never Said (Giuseppe D Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is one of those songs that could've gone under the Songs That Got Away posting but it's just SO good that I had to post it now. Why oh why don't these songs do that well?? I would dance my ass off to this!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?gkubgidevmd

Faith Hill - The Way You Love Me (Love To Infinity Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I love when they take artists far away from their own element and even though Faith Hill is a country/pop artist, she sounds great on the dancefloor. I've posted an edit for Hex Hector's "Breathe" and this is just a really funky and fun edit for this song. Love To Infinity has a great way of adding a feel-good vibe to anything. A great summer song.**

http://www.mediafire.com/?ufsjuzmxbmt

Jennifer Lopez - I'm Real (Dezrok Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Like I always say 'There's always room for J-Lo!' and this is no exception. Excellent production once again from Dezrok and even though the version with Ja Rule became big, I like that Dezrok mixed the original version of the song.**

http://www.mediafire.com/?dtg1bxwxiiw

Jerry Springer The Opera feat Alison Jiear - I Just Wanna Fuckin Dance (JM's Wayne G Extended Radio Mix)
**This song kills me! The first time I heard this I was hysterical! But it's hard to argue with a lyric like "I don't give a fuck no more, if people think I am a whore. I just wanna dance!". Having said that, this is from a musical they made in London about the Jerry Springer show and this song made it's way into the very able hands of Wayne G. Well, he didn't just turn this out, he WERQUED it out!! High energy doesn't even cover it!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?myk1ct0medg

Karen Ramirez - Looking For Love (JM's Peter Rauhofer Radio Mix)
**Somewhere inbetween Peter's evolution (if you can call it that) of style from the Club 69 days to whatever it is he calls his sound now there was a transition period that yielded a slew of great mixes. kd Lang's "Consquences of Falling" which I've posted was one of them and this was another one. Another Sunday night at Limelight classic for me! Great synths by Peter and smooth vocals from out and proud lesbian Karen Ramirez!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?dsvtxusc3jv

LeAnn Rimes - Can't Fight The Moonlight (Thunderpuss Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Does anyone NOT know this song? Smash hit by LeAnn for the Coyote Ugly movie soundtrack and even though Plasmic Honey did a cute mix of this too, Thunderpuss killed it!! If there's one thing those boys could do it's make a buildup out of ANYthing!!**

http://www.mediafire.com/?vw1jfwm1zns

Paul Oakenfold feat Brittany Murphy - Faster Kill Pussycat (JM's Eddie Baez Radio Edit)
**Who knew that all those years after "Clueless" little Brittany Murphy would become such a great singer! The rumor has it that she's been doing back up on hip hop and R&B songs for years but didn't want to be credited for it because she didn't feel comfortable being in the forefront as a singer. They say that she's the female voice on Nelly's "Hot In Herre" but who knows for sure? Only Brit. Well leave it to Oakenfold to get her to be THE vocalist on one of his tracks and the collaboration couldn't have been more perfect. This is one of those songs thats great in any incarnation but Eddie really made something out of it! So much so that I prefer this over the original which is also amazing!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ljxnwbz0ci2

Pet Shop Boys - I Don't Know What You Want But I Can't Give It Anymore (Peter Rauhofer Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Quite possibly one of the longest song titles ever but it's a great song. PSB came back in a big way with their CD "Nightlife" and then just kinda disappeared again. What gives?? This mix however falls into the aforementioned transition period for Peter and as a result is awesome!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?exhdusmvz31

Pet Shop Boys & Peter Rauhofer - Break For Love (US Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is how the collaboration all started. Incredible update of a classic by both parties here.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?enyhjzznvx4

Willa Ford - I Wanna Be Bad (Sal Parm Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Where oh where can my Willa be? She had this big hit and then some minor ones, then ended up on Dancing With The Stars and then....a big fat nothing. Ah well! Sal Parm, the guy behind Plasmic Honey did a great job with this track though.**

The Songs That Got Away: Part Four

Tima Reece - Crazy About You (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
**I always want to love Almighty mixes but sometimes, with all the dance covers they do, it can be reeeeeeeeeeeally cheesy, even for me! However, when they nail a song they really nail a song (like their mix of Anastacia's "One Day In Your Life"), well this is no exception. They lyrics are beautiful and the production is awesome!! Why do we not get music like this here in America!!??**
http://www.mediafire.com/?66tnlxto4i9

Mandy Moore - Walk Me Home (JM's Matt & Vito Radio Mix)
**I've always loved Mandy and I still do...and while she does get remixes, they never seem to go anywhere. Such is the case here...And whatever happened to Matt & Vito? They had an interesting sound...**
http://www.mediafire.com/?emblwvmxrwx

Hannah Jones - You Only Have To Say You Love Me (Eddie Baez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I LOVE this song!!! Hannah had some great songs and this was the first of hers I had discovered. Eddie's mix is good but I prefer the Almighty mix.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?412jmldozy9

Hannah Jones - You Only Have To Say You Love Me (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Another great Almighty track!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?eyuydjhjwzz

Casey Stratton - House Of Jupiter (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I wish Junior would do more Casey mixes! While when I first heard this I thought it was a woman, it turned me onto a great artist such as Casey. Junior really worked magic on this one!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ewivzzzznoy

Lulu - Hurt Me So Bad (JM's Club 69 Radio Mix)
**Does this one ever get old??? Never! Who would've thought that such a great underground track would come from Lulu?? Im just glad that it did!! Peter Rauhofer really turns this one out!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?05d2ybohjlm

Samantha Mumba - Always Come Back To Your Love (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
**Almighty did it again with this unknown track from Samantha's first CD. What was a mid-tempo pop song Almighty turned it into a great pop/trance anthem!**

The Songs That Got Away

I know I've said this before, but I don't understand why certain songs just don't 'do it', ya know? All these songs had the makings of something great but for whatever the reason, they just never got there!!

It's their time! :-)

John Kano - Together (Eddie Baez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Back when they were a trio, John Kano, Eddie Baez & Rich Luzzi went under the name Digital Allies feat Rich Luzzi which spawned the mega hits "Without You" and "Where Are You My Love?". Sometime after those two songs came and want and Rich Luzzi was just a memory, John Kano decided to step to the microphone, armed with a vocoder and a dream! lol...With Eddie Baez giving it his special touch, this is what we got! It's cheesy but I like it alot.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?8eymjxeyteb

Zelma Davis - Power (Junior Vasquez Twilite Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**C&C Music Factory watch out!! This song is what it's title says!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ajslxmu1wzh

Irene Cara - All My Heart (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Irene gave us so much great 80's dance music that it's only natural that she would give it a go later on in life. Such was the case with All My Heart. Good effort by both Junior & Irene!! She should give it another go now!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?838m2of2iiw

Joi Cardwell - Last Chance For Love (Welcome Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I. Love. This. Song. I love EVERYthing about it! Joi + Welcome = Magic. Come back to us Joi!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?2cywmgvi9ml

Zhana - Take My Heart (Welcome Radio Edit #2) **Official Edit**
**Long before she was Zhana Saunders and belting out Alegria hits or going under Inda Matrix for a little S&M music she was just plain old Zhana and it's every bit as good as any of her music. Welcome did two radio edits for this one and the second one is just better lol that's why it says #2 on it)
http://www.mediafire.com/?39etyidwqtj

Koda Kumi - Take Back (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This one is a total guilty pleasure. Dear sweet Koda Kumi trying to do some English music (to differentiate from all her normal Japanese singing) and I won't say that it fails, but it doesn't quite make it easily. Junior did a good mix to this but the vocals are at times are a little crazy and takes some getting used to.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?53kgdmjcwgt

Deborah Gibson - Only In My Dreams 98 (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**It's weird to see Junior Vasquez go through a very La Bouche phase but thus it was and it did spawn two great songs including this one. What more can I say? Deborah Gibson RAPS in this song!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?5jncjoydquv

Deborah Gibson - Only Words (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**The other great mix by Junior! This song just makes me happy when I hear it!**

Wicked Wicked Wicked!!!

There are times when two worlds collide and it doesn't always add up. The world of Broadway doesn't always have a place on the dancefloor (Richie Jones' mix of "All That Jazz" anyone??) but this time it works...it works SO well that it WERQS!!! Hah!

Idina went back into the studio this year to re-record the song that she made famous in the musical "Wicked" that too Broadway by storm!

Every version on the CD single of this (check out perfectbeat.com for that) has something to offer and Idina's vocals hold up extremely well during this.

However, it's the Eddie Baez mix of this song that gives you the dancefloor equivalent of seeing Idina live, opening night! While Hani, Josh Harris and Funky Junction all did their part for different dancefloor reactions but it's Eddie's that takes you to peak hour with your hands in the air!!!

I had made an edit for this, but I have to say, the one that's offered on the CD is perfect enough!!

Enjoy!!

Idina Menzel - Defying Gravity (Eddie Baez Radio Edit)
http://www.mediafire.com/?fjt4kodbzxv
