You always love me more...Miles Away...

Just a small posting for now to keep everyone going. I'm also going to try something a little different. I love editing mixes and all but I also love mashing things up and trying to create some of my own...

This is the newest one Im working on and while it still needs to have things tweaked (the track needs to be transposed still to make the chords the same key as the vocals) Im really happy with the structure of the mix itself.

So here's the first 3 minutes of it or so...Tell me what you all think!!

Suzanne Palmer - Luv 2 Luv 2009 (JM's Demo Clip)
http://www.mediafire.com/?ojzzyj1g1m1

Kristine W - Never (JM's Love To Infinity Radio Edit)
**I've been reading mixed reviews of this song and I don't know why! I love the vocal for this and while Love To Infinity hasn't changed their sound in quite sometime, I find it no more dated than anything Moto Blanco (or dare I even say The Freemasons with a few exceptions) has done recently. I can't wait for the other mixes of this to surface and if ANYONE can tell me why the hell we don't have Kristine's "Power Of Music" CD yet, I'd LOVE to know!!**

Two Secret Edits:

Everyone knows how I feel about posting this artists music, only because I don't want my blog to be shut down, so here you go...One's an exclusive and one's an old favorite of mine.

Hint: She's both Sticky and Sweet.

Peter Rauhofer

Ok, so it seems like Peter was edging the competition out with Offer Nissim a close second. Don't worry, all the DJ's I listed will get their day in the sun, but lets get Peter's outta the way first :-P

As you may or may not know, I've become a little disenchanted with Peter lately. The man's got talent and that can't be denied, but the sound he's evolved into lately just hasn't been doing it for me. Just a personal preference but here's some stuff that should keep the Peter fan's happy for awhile...

Britney Spears feat Madonna - Me Against The Music (Peter Rauhofer Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I believe he did two mixes for this one. Correct me if I'm wrong and I think this edit is for his 'Sleaze Mix'. This was the time when I really started to fall out of favor with him. I thought that this one just sounded like electroclash for electroclash's sake. I know he's got creativity, I just wasn't feeling it in this mix.**

Celeda - Let The Music Use You Up (JM's Peter Rauhofer Radio Edit)
**The mix that will always reign supreme for me is the Hard Attack mix. Peter's is cute and has lot more vocals in it than the Hard Attack one but it just doesn't go anywhere for me. I do love me some Celeda though!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?yuwfd0nnmts

Cher - Believe (JM's Peter Rauhofer Phunk Radio Edit)
**Let me get this out of the way: I LOVE CHER!!! She is my number one diva!! Mother of all divas!!! Now, conversly, I HATE this mix lol. Im sorry to be so down on some of this Peter stuff but I thought this mix was horrible when I first heard it and I still share that sentiment. This is one of the most upbeat, melody driven songs and Peter ripped it a apart with some weird electro-funk stuff that to me, just doesn't do this song any justice.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?2wtmcuywjjz

Jahkey B feat Satta - Heart Attack (JM's Peter Rauhofer Radio Edit)
**I love this song as well, but again, for me, it's the Hector Fonseca mix of this that really nailed it. This one? Sorta cute, kinda boring for me. Peter oh Peter where for art thou??**
http://www.mediafire.com/?eidz54n2fuw

Laszlo Panaflex - Dance To The Music (JM's Peter Rauhofer Radio Edit)
**Ok, now THIS is what I'm talking about!!! Bravo Peter!! He kills it on this one!!! That bass line is gorgeous and the synths are just spectacular! Everything about this mix was genious!! The only person who might've had the edge on him with this, years later, is Luis Erre. Get that mix if you can, it's hardcore and off the hook. But out of the original remix package, Peter wins the crown. This was very tough for me to cut into but I did the best I could! Hope you like it!**

Paris Hilton - Turn It Up (JM's Peter Rauhofer Does Paris Radio Edit)
**Peter did two mixes of this but this is my favorite one. Again, this is some great remix work done here and I don't care what anyone says, I enjoyed Paris' CD alot. Is she the best vocalist of our time? No. Does she claim to be? Hell no. It was just a fun project that she got great producers to work on and thanks to Peter, he kicked it up a notch and made it great for the dancefloor. So like Paris says, Turn this one UP!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?s3mjsmfdtfy

Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music (JM's Peter Rauhofer Reconstruction Radio Edit)
**This COULD'VE been an amazing mix and there are some sick elements to it, but the whole one verse only thing drives me nuts after awhile and he seems to be a fan of that. There's some awesome vocal stutters in this one though which I will give him props for but other than that, this mix doesn't go anywhere for me.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?vszzm2mgnwk

Suzanne Palmer - Keep The Faith (Peter Rauhofer Album Version) **Official Edit**
**How could you NOT love Suzanne? She's got a voice to beat the band and she's SO cute!! This song makes me wanna stand up and have a revival!! Offer's mix is my favorite but this is definitely neck and neck with that. I love the full vocal here and much like Kristine W is to Junior, Suzanne is to Peter. There's just something he gets outta her that not many other producer's get outta her. The beginning of this song blows my mind--Work it the fuck out gurl!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?9m3mxotmn4j

Suzanne Palmer - Sound Of The Drum (JM's Airmale vs Peter Rauhofer Radio Edit)
**When she says 'All she knows is the sound of the drum', she sure as hell ain't kidding! There's more drums in this song than anything I've heard! Hah! While it's heavy on percussion and is definitely interesting for more of an afterhours set, I prefer the original version myself. This one will keep you awake and wanting to hear what comes next though...**
http://www.mediafire.com/?mz3xnmnttzg

Whitney Houston - It's Not Right But It's Okay (Club 69 Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is a Thunderpuss classic, sorry all. You can't touch that mix. Peter did put in something completely different which is worth listening to but Chris and Barry killed it on this one and you all know it! lolol. I do however believe that Peter did some of his best work under the Club 69 moniker. More of that to come!!**

Random Stuff

Again, my apologies go out to you all because it's been so long, but on top of school Im house hunting as well--The longest experience of my LIFE!!! But it will be very exciting when it's done...

Hope these hold you over...

1 Plus 1 - Cherrybomb (Hex Hector Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I posted another song this now-disbanded group that Victor Calderone mixed but this one is pretty fabulous as well! If you're a child of the 80's, then you know this song via Joan Jett, either way it's ALOT of fun and Hex (with a lil help from Dezrok) made a great anthem out of it!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ve2a6e1fn2k

Beki - Wake Up (Guido Osorio Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Rebecca 'Beki' Onslow was part of a girl group with the Britney/BSB/NSYNC craze started called Solid Harmonie. While over seas the group garnered much success their first and only single here "I'll Be There For You" only did fairly well. After the group split Beki teamed up with DJ Guido Osorio and wrote this song and while this only did fairly well and we never heard from Beki again, this mix and the Johnny Vicious mix were pretty fly!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?aoxnriq2szg

Beki - Wake Up (Johnny Vicious Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**See above! lol**
http://www.mediafire.com/?gtaaz1bi27a

Duke - So In Love With You (Full Intention Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**In 1997 when this song came out, I was just starting to get REALLY into dance music. At the time, I was knee deep in musical theatre and my older sister was well into her party days. There were 3 songs I constantly heard coming from her room: Joey Negro - I Wanna Give You Devotion, LA Style - James Brown Is Dead and this song. I've loved it ever since!! This is CLASSIC!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?s4xq57lymto

French Affair - My Heart Goes Boom (Plasmic Honey Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I don't actually like this song but at the time I had it because everyone else did. I dunno, it's a novelty song and I guess it had it's time and Plasmic Honey did the best they could with it. It was a huge hit in NYC for awhile so Im sure you all know it as well...**
http://www.mediafire.com/?erkmhkyxxnl

Miley Cyrus - See You Again (JM's Aaron Paetsch Radio Edit)
**I hate to admit it, but I love this. The original song, not so much. Aaron did a KILLER mix here and even though there's a certain cheese element to it I think he found the perfect balance between the two and made it a little darker and definitely an anthem!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?tnzcwzmzbot

Nobody's Angel - If You Wanna Dance (Thunderpuss Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I don't care what anyone says, if you gave Thunderpuss an audio file of someone belching, they'd find a way to make a build-up out of it. This is proof. Cheesy 90's pop gone club. Pretty damn good if you ask me!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?sutddms2ncm

Robyn - Handle Me (Soul Seekerz Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**The Soul Seekerz are quickly becoming my new favorite remixing team. Listen to this mix and you'll understand why. Get the dub for some awesome afterhours beats.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?4j6xyvizzxc

SK8 - My Imagination (Ray Roc Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**She also joined the ranks of cheese pop in 1999 but has since made the move from cheese pop to dancefloor diva. This was her first offering which got remixed by Todd Terry and Ray Roc. This is the one I always favored.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?m5zy7fkidxi

SK8 - Tina (Chris Cox Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Long after SK8 left the world of pop and made the switch she's had a few releases that seem to go overlooked. This is her most recent and I actually enjoy it. It's a little bit more of an electro sound we get from Chris Cox here but it works. This song, if you listen to the lyrics are clearly about a night partying with Crystal Meth. The lyrics "Connie wasn't home. Kitty never shows. I'm sick of Mary Jane so instead I've gotta play with Tina. My girlfriend Tina." Grab your bumpers boys, this one's going right up the nose lol**
http://www.mediafire.com/?yfjnji2ux9e

Suzanne Palmer - Fascinated (JM's Eric Kupper Radio Edit)
**This is one of those updates that makes the original seem so far away. Suzanne did a KILLER job with this song and even though we got some good mixes from Offer Nissim, DJ Paulo and Escape/Gomi, the original wins out here. Eric Kupper's production moves along very smoothly and lets Suzanne's voice do all the work here. And work it DOES!! My favorite part is at 3:40. Check it out. Suzanne rules!!!!**

Pop Edits and Random Edits

Hey everyone! Im glad that these postings are such a hit...But Im gonna change the format and just post different edits instead of breaking them down by remixer. It's just easier for me in the long run...and when I find edits by people I've already posted, I don't feel stupid by not including them the first time lol!

As always, Enjoy!!

Brenda K Starr - Hold Me (Richie Santana Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**If you haven't heard this before, this will surely blow you away! I apparently am on a Richie Santana kick right now and this is sooooo good!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?cnzfwf3yzvk

Rockell - What U Did 2 Me (Jonathan Peters Dirty Mix) **Official Edit**
**Another great song from JP! There is a radio edit that is shorter than this one (around 3 min and change) but this mix was also on the single and it's about 5:40 but included alot of great stuff that I loved so Im posting this one instead. The original mix is around 10 min so it's definitely edited. The synths that come in around 30 sec in are my fave!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?3fw2bmdjfy5

Kaci - Paradise (JM's Richie Santana Radio Edit)
**BASS ALERT!!! BASS ALERT!!! Richie BRINGS IT in this one!! The beat is a very serious thomp thomp if I've ever heard one. Even though Kaci isn't the best vocalist ever it totally works here!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?fjnzemteio2

Club 69 feat Suzanne Palmer - Muscles (Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This one, as gay as it is, is tough to deny! Suzanne did a great cover of this Michael Jackson penned Diana Ross classic!! Even though I'm not a huge fan of this mix (the Razor N Guido mix tears it up!!) Dmvsi wanted some Club 69/Peter Rauhofer stuff, so here's one for ya!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?5s3p23h9fwc

Soft Cell vs Club 69 - Tainted Love (Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This one needs no explanation**
http://www.mediafire.com/?0z4t9g2xvgf

E.G. Daily - Love In The Shadows (Solar City Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is one of those "Songs That Got Away" type songs. This was a song that was a mild hit for E.G. in the 80's and then in 2001 Solar City (who don't get enough credit as well) brought it back for a fantastic update!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?7opbdn3luyh

Stacie Orrico - (There's Gotta Be) More To Life (Dr Octavo Extended Mix) **Official Edit**
**I was always so dissappointed with the mixes here. Jason Nevins and Mike Rizzo were on board on this one and I felt that they kinda fell flat. Dr Octavo, while not an AMAZING mix, did an ok job with a song I do still love to this day and there was no edit offered on the single. There is however his Extended Mix which only clocks in at 4:47 so I didn't bother editing it.**

http://www.mediafire.com/?5drty4tgtsw

Barbara Doust - I Found Someone (Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Yes, it's a cover of the Cher song and yes, it would've been better if it was Cher and also yes, Barbara did the best she could. It's cheesy. It's poppy. You'll love it!**

The Digital Diva

Billed as The Digital Diva, Suzanne Palmer has the same problem that Kristine W tends to have: They're two of the best vocalists you've never heard of.

Suzanne's big break came in the form of 1998's "Much Better" where she was the vocalist on the Club 69 track that went to number 1.

Her remake of Diana Ross' "Muscles" also did very well for her via Club 69 (check out the Razor N Guido mix!) but it wouldn't be until her cover of Kosheen's "Hide U" that would put her on the map again (check out Junior's mix of this one!).

Since then she released her second CD "Home" on Star 69 records (her first debut album never saw the light of day due to the folding of the record label, Twisted UK, she was on) where she works with some of the best people in the dance music industry.

Eric Kupper (who produced the single "Fascinated", a Company B remake), Cevin Fisher ("Luv 2 Luv" & "Eye Can See U" - The latter will soon be the next single), Dezrok ("One Day") and of course Peter Rauhofer over-seeing the whole project, made this album a varied and exceptional listen-thru.

This is what a real dance music CD should sound like.

This song, "Keep The Faith", originally produced by Rauhofer, had an exceptional mix by Offer Nissim on the CD single release. Her vocals soar through the rafters on this one and of course, Offer's beats give the song the punch it needs!
