A few more...

Amy Winehouse - Tears Dry On Their Own (JM's Alix Alvarez Sole Radio Edit)
**I really hope that Amy can get her shit together and give us some more great music!!! It's such a shame because she's so talented! I haven't really been a fan of many of her mixes because her music is usually the kind I like in it's original form only. Even this one doesn't necessarily blow me away but it's a cute summer mix with a funky happy twist and I think it works.**

Blondie - Maria (JM's Soul Solution Radio Mix)
** Back in 1999 this was Blondie's big comeback song from their CD "No Exit" and I loved everything about it! The song went to #1 in the UK while it stalled at a disappointing #82 in the US pop charts, however, the remixes of it did make it to #9. True, Blondie looked alot older and Debbie Harry's face seemed like it only had one facial expression left, but that's ok because Soul Solution put together a great mix here guaranteed to keep your face (and your feet) happy! **

Byron Stingily - U Turn Me (Michael T Diamond Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I just found this one deep in the books and I just had to include it. This is a great vocal but this is also one of those rare occasions when I like the dub more than the vocal. The Michael T Diamond Dub of this took over NYC dance clubs so much more than the vocal mix and even though it was much more popular, an edit of it would just be foolish lol. So instead I offer the vocal.**

S Club 7 Juniors - One Step Closer (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is straight up euro pop dance cheese!! Back in the day, British band S Club 7 was all over the charts and they spawned another group called S Club 7 Juniors which then turned into S Club 8, and while the members are off persuing solo stuff as of today, this was a remix of their first big song in the UK (which reached #2) in 2002. Almighty of course took it and amped it up for the dancefloors!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?n3e2dnn8azx

Sylver Logan Sharp - After All This Time (JM's Jonathan Peters Barebones Radio Mix)
**We all know this song and I know I've posted it before, but here, Jonathan Peters offers something really interesting and he calls it his Barebones Mix. This mix was never released and it's basically beat, bass and vocal with maybe one synth line thrown in. It's uber-minimal and it has a very dark feel to it. Sylver's voice, of course, still sounds incredible and you can really hear her vocal prowess here. A must have!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?xt2ncbahm1u

Synergy 4 - Come To Me (JM's Mada & Moody Radio Edit)
**I don't know alot about this song except that I heard it on a mix CD in 1998 and it took me forever to find it! I stumbled across a promo vinyl for it in a bargain bin (and after almost passing out) ripped it immediately! The vocal here is insane as is the production. Alot of dance music at this time was very dark sounding, almost gothic and the productions of all the heavy hitters at the time like Plasmic Honey, Mada & Moody, Sal Dano, Robbie Tronco all reflected that. Definitely give this a listen, they just don't make build-ups like this anymore.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?zwkdnjlymwz

Ultra Nate vs M-Dolla - Free To Preach (JM's Whitelabel Radio Edit)
**Alright, we all know who M-Dolla is right? It's the rediculous nickname this artist gets called on her new CD that has to do with Candy... If not, just click the link and you'll see. But she has really no contribution to this mix at all. Whoever did it used the vocals from Ultra Nate's "Free" and the violins from M-Dolla's "Papa Don't Preach" and made a great mash-up!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?miygoeg20xe

X-Press feat Rob Harvey - Kill 100 (JM's DJ Paulo & Todd Dutkevitch Extended Radio Mix)
**This mix is brilliant from start to stop!! The haunting vocals from Rob Harvey combined with Paulo & Todd's incredible tribal mix is to die for!! This one will NOT dissappoint for sure!!**

Requests and Random

It's fitting that with such a hot guy as David Beckham is my first edit will be for a Colton Ford song lol...

Colton Ford - Everything (JM's Solar City Radio Edit)

**I feel like Colton gets a bad rap and because of his porn star status, he will never be anything more than just 'the porn star that sings'. He's put out some really quality music and this was the first song I had ever heard by him. While I do enjoy Guido Osorio's mix of this better, this song, raunchy as it is, has alot more fun adlibs than Guido's does. This one comes off the soundtrack to the movie "Naked Fame" which details Colton's turn from porn god to songstress lol. I love the first 4 seconds here...**

http://www.mediafire.com/?9zmb3invuib

Deborah Cox - Play Your Part (Gabriel & Dresden Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**This was such a great Deborah songs and is one of my all time favorites. I find that I favor the Deborah songs that aren't the monster hits. This one and "I Never Knew" are probably my top two favorites. Gabriel & Dresden really did such a great job with this one and it seems as though they've kinda fell below the radar as well in recent years. Mike Rizzo did a more mainstream mix that KTU in NY played but this mix is definitely where it's at.**

http://www.mediafire.com/?th9zyxlmomz

Gloria Gaynor - I Never Knew (Hex Hector Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**Hex & Mac Quayle made an unforgettable anthem out of this simple R&B track and it was a brilliant way to make disco queen Gaynor more relevant again. What happened afterwards? Well, one more minor single ("Just Keep Thinking About You") and then she dissappeared once again. Her voice sounds just as good now as it did in the 70's and the Hex/Mac collaborations never dissappoint. Throw your hands in the air for this one!**

http://www.mediafire.com/?ye7jjletqpe

Jana - More Than Life (DJ Skribble & Anthony Acid Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**This is a NYC classic!! Jana's voice SOARS through this one and Skribble & Anthony Acid's production is perfect marriage for it! If you don't know this song, it's a MUST HAVE! I never get tired of hearing this. DJ Escape also turned out a great mix which I'm gonna have to edit for a future post as well.**

http://www.mediafire.com/?5idhuddyeoz

Jana - Stairway To Heaven (Spinning Sounds Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**So where exactly did Jana go wrong? She cemented herself in NYC dance music history forever and then just went away...The "More Than Life" single was a double A-Side with an AWESOME update of Meatloaf's "Two Out Of Three Ain't Bad" (produced by Guido Osorio) and then she tried for another cover with this, Led Zepplin's "Stairway To Heaven". I can hear the groans already, but I will say this, if it was a Zepplin song and you had never heard it before, this could be pretty amazing! I love Jana's take on it and Guido Osorio (the man behind the moniker Spinning Sounds) put together a great mix that works very well on the dancefloor. You just have to on 4 different types of drugs to really appreciate it I guess! Hah!**

http://www.mediafire.com/?cqljyxnpe2z

Jocelyn Enriquez - No Way No How (Al B Rich Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**I already posted an edit for the Yiannis' Outstanding mix of this song and I just found this edit. Al B Rich does what they do best: make dance music for the masses. It's got a more pop-dance feel now but it's a great track in any format!**

http://www.mediafire.com/?c4mminmv414

Samantha Fox - Naughty Girls (Need Love Too) (Solar City Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**If there was one woman during the 80's that I loved more than life it was Samantha Fox. My best friend David even got me an airbrushed shirt with a picture of her on it that says "Samantha Fox Made Me Gay"! Haha! I loved her then and I've followed her (minor) career since then, so I was overjoyed to see some of her music make a comeback. Solar City (with re-recorded vocals from Sam) put together a darker production for this song and it works! Nothing beats the original but this is a close second!**

http://www.mediafire.com/?bei4ej2iiq1

Soft Cell - The Night (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**

**We all know Soft Cell for their mega-hit cover of "Tainted Love" but what happened afterwards?? "Tainted Love" came off their debut CD ("Non Stop Erotic Cabaret") and then shadowed the group for the rest of their lives which only fueled the drug addiction that followed. By their own admission, most of the music from their follow-up EP ("Non Stop Ecstatic Dancing") was made under the influence of ecstacy. Well the short version is that the group disbanded and lead singer Marc Almond went on to persue a mildly successful solo career. It was when the group re-united for 2002's "Cruelty Without Beauty" that we got some more solid music from them. The lead single "Monoculture" only hit #52 in the UK, but it's this song and second single that I fell in love with (even tho this one only reached #39 on the charts)! It's so melody driven and remixers Almighty & Wayne G both produced some great high energy mixes for it but Almighty wins the battle here for me! Great hook, great lyrics and a great remix all add up here!**

Shirtless wonders...wreck my sight...under the light!!

So yes, I am obsessed with the David Beckham Armani Underwear Ad's, so you, the reader, will have some delicious eye candy with the next few posts as I celebrate what I can only describe as sex on legs: David Beckham's Package!

I'm working on edits for a Junior Vasquez post, so stay tuned for that soon, as well as a new mixshow post!

And of course, HAPPY GAY PRIDE EVERYONE!!!

Elize - Lovesick (Beatfreakz Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**New comer Elize may have some staying power if she keeps releasing stuff like this. She's cute and latin and the song is an adorable piece of up-tempo pop and now that the Beatfreakz got their hands on it, they made it a great summer song, perfect for any Tea dance!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?1msyjpyy02l

LeAnn Rimes - Headphones (Almighty Anthem Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Another great dance song from LeAnn! Will she just take the hint already--Drop the country stuff and strap on your stilletto's and head to the club! It's fun and light and not OVERLY cheesy as Almighty can tend to be. Fun stuff here!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?pmzdntyxw13

Chris Rockford vs Jennifer Paige - Crush 2008 (Chris Rockford Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I dunno who Chris Rockford is but I wanna tell him we need a full vocal for this!!! This is TOTAL fun!! I've been a fan of this song since it first came out and I love it just as much now as I did then! Rockford uses the dancefloor staple filter effects here as most remixers have been when they revive these older songs and it works, but a full vocal would be awesome instead of just this teaser chorus mix! I hope you read this Chris!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?7jyyyg3de22

Ron Perkov - I Get Off (Tony Moran & Warren Rigg Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**It seems that Ron Perkov can do just about anything. He's been a backup singer to being cast in Broadway's "Mack & Mabel", had 2 Billboard Top Ten hits and was featured on Tony Moran's soundtrack to the movie "Circuit" with the fabulous song "Love Divine". This time around Ron's teamed up with Tony Moran to make a CD called "Intimate Chill Out". Produced by Ron, Tony Moran and Mike Lorello and featuring songs written by Ron, Tony Moran & Allan Dennis Rich (who was responsible for Kristine W's "Walk Away") the CD is very flattering to Ron's smooth voice but I'm betting Miss Moran just couldn't wait to remix this shit out of it!! And thank God he did! I love this track!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?rsuphi0xob2

Cyndi Lauper - Into The Nightlife (JM's Soul Seekerz Radio Mix)
**The original of this might be one of my favorite songs of 2008 and it's surely my favorite Cyndi song ever! I've been living for this for months and I was just waiting for some good mixes! Well this is the first one up and as always, the Soul Seekerz do NOT dissappoint!! This mix is SLAMMIN!!!! Cyndi sounds completely at home with beats behind her and this one is sure to burn up ANY dancefloor!! TURN IT THE F**K UP!!!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ek3uzmn1015

Danity Kane - Damaged (JM's Richie Rich Radio Edit)
**Be warned! This one is NOT house music! When I was growing up, most of what I listened to was Freestyle music, which as far as I'm concerned, paved the way for what we know now as house music. I loved it then and I still do and so when I came across this mix (Thanks to my affiliate Don't Stop The Musik ) I was curious to see how someone would handle a freestyle version of this song. The result: I love it! It's such an interesting idea and really puts a fantastically different feel to the song! It reminds me alot of Debbie Deb's "When I Hear Music". I hope you all enjoy it!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?rymvjodjkml

BONUS EDIT: I swore I would never post this artist's work for certain reasons but I'm so in love with this mix and I KNOW you all will be or already are, so check it out here. Trust me, this is not one to miss. Possibly my best edit of 2008.

More Officials

Im posting all this to buy me time since I haven't had a ton of time to sit down in front of the computer to edit in awhile...I hope you'll forgive me!

LeAnn Rimes - We Can (Widelife Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I've said it before and I'll say it again--LeAnn sounds BEST on the dancefloor and thanks to Widelife they made it happen!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?yjt9znb1jgf

LeAnn Rimes - Tic Toc (Thunderpuss Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**LeAnn tackles something we never thought we'd hear her sing about--SEX! Thunderpuss of course rips through this literally makes a dancefloor orgasm! This is one of the best mixes LeAnn's ever gotten!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?j9d0wejwyn4

Emma Bunton - All I Need To Know (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I feel like she just doesn't get enough credit. She has a great voice, writes her own stuff and still nothing. Well, Bimbo Jones took this sweet ballad and transformed it in a way that only they can. The result of course, is gold. THIS FILE IS IN M4A FORMAT!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?cy4z3mdj9gg

Tamyra Gray - Raindrops Will Fall (Hex Hector & Mac Quayle Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I would love to see the day where someone from American Idol teams up with the hottest dance music producers out there and releases a slammin cd of hits! Tamyra has the voice but apparently not the following. We did however get this great mix for her one single before dissappearing into the relatively unknown. Hex & Mac are always a sure fire combo and this is no exception. ANTHEM!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?mixgdbox0gy

Natasha Bedingfield - These Words (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I've always loved this song. Thanks Bimbo.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?z2km1yzphd3

Natasha Bedingfield - Soulmate (Bimbo Jones Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Im glad that Bimbo took this song on because although it wasn't released as a single, this is one of my favorite tracks off her N.B./Pocketful Of Sunshine CD.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?2xelmz4tmv3

Junior Vasquez feat Anna Nicole Smith - Anna's Theme (Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**In Junior's own words: "It's Junior. Just wanted to let you know that the mix is fucking phenomenal. It sounds amazing." And it does. It really does. RIP ANNA**
http://www.mediafire.com/?oznxzlijyob

Andreas Johnson - Go For The Soul (Soundfactory Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I'm totally addicted to S-Pop (Swedish Pop) and Andreas cranks out some great stuff. He gave us the hit 'Glorious' back in the day and now, with the help of Soundfactory, gives us another great vocal. Kinda cheesy but I love it!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?x0yglyk5emj

Emma Bunton - Maybe (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is my fave Emma mix. The original was a total throwback to the mod-60's-era and i was surprised to see how Almighty tackled it. Of course it's a hi-nrg track! Go Almighty go!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?mmz3zmwdmmy

Tatu - Not Gonna Get Us (Dave Aude Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Everyone's favorite faux-lesbian duo gave us a great song and Dave Aude rocked it into a anthem!! Throw your hands in the air with this one!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ztgn2y3yyow

Jonas Brothers - When You Look Me In The Eyes (Jason Nevins Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I dont understand the appeal here and Jason could've done better with this but here it is anyway. It never really takes off for me and even though they sound like 3 12 year old Shania Twain's you can decide.**

Randomania: Part Two

Backstreet Boys - I Want It That Way (JM's Bruce Cockburn Radio Edit)
**As cheesy as the pop music was at this time, the mixes were just as cheesy and sometimes even more so! However, every once in awhile you'd get a mix that actually went somewhere and didn't sound like the demo button on a Casio keyboard. This is one of them. I just found this mix again on an 8 year old CD and I've never found this mix since. I don't know who Bruce Cockburn is, but aside from having a name that makes me giggle, he gave us this really high energy and drama filled mix!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?bcn4bwbw34w

Britney Spears - Sometimes (JM's Thunderpuss Radio Edit)
**What I love about this is it's a perfect time capsule mix. This is both early Thunderpuss (when they were still Thunderpuss 2000 or TP2K) and early Britney. Both have come a long way since this but it's still interesting to hear such a young Britney and a very rough around the edges Thunderpuss production.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?qmsjcqbjmfn

CeCe Peniston - Movin On (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is SUCH a great track! The thing that sucks about an artist like CeCe is that once she released "Finally" that seemed to be it for her. She made her mark in dance/pop music and was seen as a one hit wonder after that. She's had SO much great music and back in 1996 she had this song. This is classic Junior right here so grab it while it's hot!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?b2mxonwwxdd

Francesca Gramm - Time Waits For No One (Warren Rigg Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I love when the big time remixer collaborators get to step up to the plate and show us what they're made of. 9 times out of 10 they sound just like the mixes they do with the big time remixers, which kinda always made me wonder what their parts are in the mixes? Who really knows? Well, Warren Rigg not only produced this track but co wrote it as well with Miss Gramm (who by the looks of the CD cover looks like a Mrs. Gramm) and it's a really great production! Francesca's voice does leave a little bit to be desired but she's got a husky, Marlene Dietrich-esque sound that works, but it doesn't really go anywhere. You be the judge!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?1dxmwk14ymt

Geri Halliwell - Lift Me Up (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Geri just never got enough credit in my eyes. While here in America her music was panned, back at home her stuff was constantly charting. Why do we as American's have such terrible taste in music?? I'll never understand it. This was my favorite song from her first solo CD "Schizophonic" and it yielded 3 mixes: This one from Almighty, a mainstream one from Metro and a funky one from K-Klass. I have the first two official edits and wasn't really a fan of the K-Klass so...**
http://www.mediafire.com/?cybta1tixze

Geri Halliwell - Lift Me Up (Metro Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**While Almighty gave a high energy mix, Metro made it very simple and straightforward. They're the masterminds behind Cher's mega-hit "Believe" so you can take the cue from there of what to expect.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?nwmte5fdz5w

Rockell - Tears (JM's Dezrok Radio Edit)
**I've always been a fan of Rockell as I've always loved freestyle music. As time went on it was natural she'd end up on the dance floor and she made it in a big way. Her hit "The Dance" was a favorite of mine for SUCH a long time and continuing with that sound, this mix comes courtesy of Dezrok. Both he and Hex Hector produced "The Dance" but this time on his own, he created originall an 11 minute anthem! One thing I love about his work is that they usually have the most gorgeous intro's that tend to get cut when making an edit for a CD single. However, I had to include it here, so I fused the intro of the Club Mix with the original Radio Edit to get this. Enjoy!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?0hbuwzx3wvz

Rockik - Memories (Widelife Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**When I first heard this song, it was the Robbie Rivera Dub which was outstanding and a staple of NY nightlife when this came out. However, since I don't usually edit dubs, I needed a vocal mix and while the original one is a funky upbeat track, Widelife turned it around and kept the energy but made the sound bigger. I love them for that!!**

Soon....(And Edits!!)

Hey everyone!!!

I just wanted to thank you all for all your kind words and well wishing while I've been at school and all that jazz. I will be back soon...Im hoping within the week...I've got alot of great stuff to post and it's buggin me that I haven't haha!

So keep checking back! Any day now I shall return! Hah!

Here's some stuff I had just layin around in the meantime since you've all been so good with me with this!!!

Knob - Music (Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**A new song from this hot Israeli dance/pop duo!!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?sxyd2t01j4n

Krista - Weakness Of The Body (Josh Harris Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Originally a Brenda K Starr song, then covered as a Demo track by Mariah Carey, now updated by Krista with a great production by Josh Harris. I reccommend tracking down the Mariah one if you're a fan of her and/or freestyle music.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?92kxsykyokz

Matchbox Twenty - How Far We've Come (Ralphi Rosario & Craig J Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I've always loved Rob Thomas. Aside from the fact that he's dead sexy he's incredibly talented as well. Ralphi and Craig were able to transform this rock gem into a great club thomper with ease.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?4ui3l2m1sdl

Dame Shirley Bassey - Get This Party Started (Shirley Bassey vs Chris Cox Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I don't really know what to say about this one. I knew it was going to be rediculous and all but I think Chris really did a great job with it! The thing that's interesting is that it's just as good as Pink's version (yes, it IS that song) but in a different way. Drag queens take your mark!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?asgyejmzx1k

Laura Blake - Save The Best For Last (Almighty Anthem Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is Almighty doing what Almighty does best--Cover versions. Some work. Some don't. This does!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?9y02iyy0o5w

Abigail - Let The Joy Rise (Thunderpuss Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**This is one of my favorite classic TP2k mixes! It's a shame to see Abigial fizzle out the way she did, but thank goodness we got this outta her before she did! A sure fire way to kick things up a notch!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?dxngd2zzg3z

Cher - The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore (JM's Alternate Junior Vasquez Radio Edit)
**There's artists and then there's Cher. And within that, there's this mix. This is one of the first mixes/songs I heard by Junior/Cher and I was floored. This mix is so grandiose I just couldn't handle it haha! But of course, since Junior is Junior, he made 1,200 mixes of it lol... This is an edit I did for an alternate mix of his which is a little more stripped down and is more beat driven. Enjoy!!**

Enjoy and thanks again for all your loyalty!!

The Songs That Got Away: Part Four

Tima Reece - Crazy About You (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
**I always want to love Almighty mixes but sometimes, with all the dance covers they do, it can be reeeeeeeeeeeally cheesy, even for me! However, when they nail a song they really nail a song (like their mix of Anastacia's "One Day In Your Life"), well this is no exception. They lyrics are beautiful and the production is awesome!! Why do we not get music like this here in America!!??**
http://www.mediafire.com/?66tnlxto4i9

Mandy Moore - Walk Me Home (JM's Matt & Vito Radio Mix)
**I've always loved Mandy and I still do...and while she does get remixes, they never seem to go anywhere. Such is the case here...And whatever happened to Matt & Vito? They had an interesting sound...**
http://www.mediafire.com/?emblwvmxrwx

Hannah Jones - You Only Have To Say You Love Me (Eddie Baez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I LOVE this song!!! Hannah had some great songs and this was the first of hers I had discovered. Eddie's mix is good but I prefer the Almighty mix.**
http://www.mediafire.com/?412jmldozy9

Hannah Jones - You Only Have To Say You Love Me (Almighty Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**Another great Almighty track!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?eyuydjhjwzz

Casey Stratton - House Of Jupiter (Junior Vasquez Radio Edit) **Official Edit**
**I wish Junior would do more Casey mixes! While when I first heard this I thought it was a woman, it turned me onto a great artist such as Casey. Junior really worked magic on this one!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?ewivzzzznoy

Lulu - Hurt Me So Bad (JM's Club 69 Radio Mix)
**Does this one ever get old??? Never! Who would've thought that such a great underground track would come from Lulu?? Im just glad that it did!! Peter Rauhofer really turns this one out!**
http://www.mediafire.com/?05d2ybohjlm

Samantha Mumba - Always Come Back To Your Love (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
**Almighty did it again with this unknown track from Samantha's first CD. What was a mid-tempo pop song Almighty turned it into a great pop/trance anthem!**

Sometimes You Gotta Do It Yourself...

First things first, If you don't have a copy of Kylie Minogue's new CD "X", you are missing out on truly the best electronic CD of 2007 and arguably one of the best ones ever.

So yes, I'm obsessed with this CD and I was waiting to see how the lead single "2 Hearts" would translate to the dancefloor. I was surprised when all the mixes I did find just didn't cut it for me. There's some interesting ones out there but nothing mainstream with a nice steady thump thump that makes you wanna throw your hands up in the air.

Well, God bless Almighty for doing what they do best: Taking a song and adding a helluvalot of energy to it!

Almighty had Jamie Knight do two cover songs for them (which Almighty is famous for), one being "2 Hearts" and the other is the Leona Lewis smash "Bleeding Love". Both of which are good in their own right and Jamie's voice can parallel Kylie's in some ways but when all's said and done, it's just not Kylie.

However, Almighty released the instrumental of their "2 Hearts" mix and I had the Kylie accapella handy so I re-assigned the tempo of the accapella from the normal 112 it is to Almighty's 129 (thankfully with no distortion!) and started slicing and dicing it over the track.

It was a little difficult as Kylie's phrasing in the original song is very loose and doesn't always coincide with the beats, so having it sped up I had to piece apart almost every line seperately. Thank God I love this song so much cause I needed alot of patience haha!

I'm extremely happy with this mix and I hope that this will please the masses out there!! Feedback is always welcomed!!!

She has survived!

You know the name and you know the voice. She has two of the biggest disco classics under her belt "I Will Survive" and "I Am What I Am" but back in 2000 she recorded this lost gem.
Giorgio Moroder, the King of Electronic Disco, was working on an album of older material and he wanted a well-known disco artist to put the finishing touches on the vocals to make it new material.
When Logic/BMG Records hear the song Gloria recorded, "Last Night" they knew she still had it and it led to a cover version of Tata Vega's 1979 hit "Just Keep Thinking About You". On the strength of that single, it led to her first album in over 15 years in the US, on Logic Records, "I Wish You Love" in 2002.
However, "Last Night" was picked up by European remixing team Almighty and they gave this song a diva-vocal anthem that I'm sure had drag queens all over the world rejoicing! Hah!
Gloria Gaynor - The Last Night (JM's Almighty Radio Edit)
